The podcast The Word Nerds was kind enough to give podictionary a mention. I think this was instrumental in giving me a listenership.

After buying my kids iPods I wondered what good they were. Suddenly I realized that I could tell people about the fun history of English words and at the same time let them get to know me. That way when Carnal Knowledge comes out I’ll already have an interested audience. The first episode was on the word chauffeur and although my early presentation was pretty breathless, I’m still getting downloads years later.
